TO KNOW EVERYTHING ABOUT THE SDS
What do you need to become part of The SDS
– 1st year level open to all types of high school certificates
– 2nd year level open to students with 60 ECTS from higher education in Art, Design and other disciplines
– 3rd year level open to students with 120 ECTS
– 4th year level open to students with 180 ECTS, or a Bachelor diploma, or Master
– 5th year level open for Master students
We put a high emphasis on your personal presentation, to get a better idea of the candidate and his/her projects. This is an important moment for us to inform the candidate about the professional duties and life of a designer in sustainable innovation and to inform about our study curriculum.
– Individual interview
– Presentation of a portfolio or artistic works
– Questions about professional orientation
– Presentation of former study records

The first year
WHAT DO YOU STUDY?
Many students do not have sufficient drawing and language skills. That’s why The SDS proposed summer classes in drawing and English for personalised upgrading:
– Intensive course in English
– Courses in drawing technics
For our future students, with other educational background, and who need upgrade in drawing, to be operational right from the beginning.

After 5 years of studies
The SDS is member of the University Côte d’Azur – labelled Initiative of Excellence (IDEX) – a community of institutions of higher education and research.
The SDS applies the European Credit Transfer System with the objective to facilitate international mobility.

Learning by working on corporate partnership projects
Right from the first year, the students become part of a team, working on a project, given by a national or international company.
Through the partnership projects the students are directly linked to the companies with strong ties.
During the partnership projects, the students get to know themselves and their preferences much better. This will allow to have a better view of possible future professional activities.
